across the years

I googled your name last week.  Your publication list is impressive and the photo on your company website made me smile broadly.  You look fantastic and it seems like you have done well at what you've always wanted.

Every few years my mom asks me about you.

I'm reaching back across the years to say I know things worked out exactly as they should. Thank you.  I became so much of who I am today, content and happy, from those years I spent with you.
